The eighth ugliest building in the world...
....according to the Scotsman and Virtualtourist.com that is.
What do we think? Is it that ugly? Or should we just, in true Scottish style, be gutted that we only finished eighth in the list?
ps - apologies for the lite blogging - I'm trying to juggle Christmas, reading, writing and blogging, and not succeeding all that much. Must try harder!

The Times described it as "a thrilling masterpiece", a "cathedral of devolution", and "a work of art of extraordinary complexity and craftsmanship", which is good enough for me.
I'm surprised the Aber Library didn't make it in the list.
I think the parliament is fantastic, both inside and out, though perhaps a little pricey!
Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral also made it onto that top ten ugly buildings list.
The compilers have a strange idea of what constitutes ugly!
Although that Peter the Great statue makes my eyes hurt...
