What do we think? Is it that ugly? Or should we just, in true Scottish style, be gutted that we only finished eighth in the list?

ps - apologies for the lite blogging - I'm trying to juggle Christmas, reading, writing and blogging, and not succeeding all that much. Must try harder!

I think the parliament is fantastic, both inside and out, though perhaps a little pricey!

Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral also made it onto that top ten ugly buildings list.

The compilers have a strange idea of what constitutes ugly!

Although that Peter the Great statue makes my eyes hurt...

I'm quite happy - indeed, eager - to engage in debate with others when the topic provides opportunity to do so. I like knowing who I'm debating with and I'm fed up with some abusive anonymous comments so I've disabled those comments for awhile. If you want to comment, log in - it only takes a minute.
