Six Nations Week 1 - Review
Three of three on the predictions for the Six Nations this weekend. Not surprising at all really.
Predictions were:
Ireland 36-12 Italy
England 23-18 WalesScotland 15-21 France
Results were:
Ireland 29-11 ItalyEngland 30-17 Wales
Scotland 9-18 France
Not too far out on the scores either. 1 point out on both Wales & Italy, and the gaps (England-Wales excepted) were pretty close too. Overall, fairly disappointed in the standard of rugby overall. Italy were horrible, Ireland were mediocre, England were fortunate, Wales were ill-disciplined, Scotland were outmuscled and France were huge.
At this point, I'm picking Wales to beat Scotland, France to beat Ireland and England to beat Italy next week. But hopefully the games will be better.
